Indian Christians accuse police of 'taking sides' - 5 Oct 08

More than 30 people have been killed in recent weeks in clashes between Hindu and Christian groups in India's eastern state of Orissa and with tensions remaining high, there are fears the violence is speading south.

Al Jazeera's Matt McClure reports from Mangalore, where the police are being accused of siding with the Hindus against the church-going community.

@philjoydsilva Let me give you an example so that you are clear. Suppose you have a kid at home and I approach him in the playground with candy or sweet talk and they sell him later to someone. What do you do if you see me? Will you let me do that? Probably not, because your kid is innocent and I am the one who is doing wrong thing in full conscience. By your logic, you should blame your kid for not having faith in you or your family and not run behind me for candy!

@philjoydsilva I am also against babas but they don't go and trick people of other religions unlike your missionaries. There is no concept of conversion in Hinduism if you are that aware and you cannot convert. You are right about faith in religion but it does not mean tricking people due to lack of faith or understanding of their religion.

@philjoydsilva Dude, everyone knows which religion is peaceful and which is not. Christians invaded USA and terminated all the native Indians there. Isn't that terrorism? In earlier days conversions were done on the basis of force and today they lure and trick poor people with money and by showing some shit magic tricks of Jesus. What shame! And thirdly, why do you preach your religion to others? Are you that insecure? What is the need for conversion? Next time use proper English.

@philjoydsilva You judge prematurely mate. I am sure you do lots of things "prematurely", so it is excused. Anyhow look at these missionaries who as their name suggest are on a mission to mass convert people to christianity which is totally wrong and so they should be beaten. Actually, India has been lenient to allow these missionaries enter the nation in the first place. Are you blind not to see this? Or are you crazily in love with your christian brothers?
