@ShenMerrick I went to a gun show recently. Someone had an M-60 set up you could buy for $5k if you had a dealer's license. That would be a good start. We used to use those assisting the coast guard with drug interdictions off Florida.

@CComb501 To be honest, that's a good reason to cut it. Get people off their butts and get this revolution going. We desperately need one. Ron Paul has shown how the program is not solvent before during debates in these recent weeks. The only options our broken economy has is to either simply give back what you've paid in, or not continue the program at all. My generation is already borderline revolting now. We are sick to death of the corruption and lies, if cutting SS will get you with us? YA!

@ShenMerrick I don't think SS/Medicare is the problem. The problem is waste and improper spending.I'm not in favor of the Country going down the tubes but there will be hell to pay if the govt decides to cut these programs. They arn't really entitlements it's money we've paid with the promise of return upon retirement. I would have to say just give me what I've paid in plus 35 years interest and I'll be on my way. Too many Baby Boomers collecting SS. I see revolution if the program is cut.

@CComb501 And if it came down to whether or not to end the program, and the country was in an economic crisis, and we are, I would have to say cut it also. I know it ends up not being fair to a lot of people, and its not that I don't feel for that, I do. I have family who will also take a huge hit from this. But it's foolish to think that, when the country is imploding all around us and the whole world is falling apart economically because the bankers have screwed everyone, nothing will hit you.

@CComb501 Well to a certain extent I agree with you about guns. That's not opposed to me at all. I think our 2nd Amendment is wonderful, especially "...being necessary to the security of a free state...", so true. I believe only a felony convicted criminal can have that revoked. They've proven they can't be trusted. And, I'm 26, so I haven't paid into Medicare/SS all my life, I admit. But Dr. Paul has laid out all too clearly how this program is flawed, and always was. It's just not solvent.

@ShenMerrick I have 2 opposing political views: 1) I believe anyone should be able to posess any gun/weapon they choose. 2) I've paid into medicare and social security all my life so yes I'm entilted to get it back, all of it plus interest. The TP's want to end SS& Medicare entitlements. Mostly the ones that are already retired and well to do. I travel through airports 2-3 times a week, I agree with your TSA assessment.

And just because you have been graced with not ever being mugged, robbed, raped, or killed, doesn't mean everyone is free from those things. Guns save lives. If you look up actual data, Guns solve more crimes than they cause, by a huge amount. And the real Tea Party supports Ron Paul.
