By special request I found some more footage from Railfan Day of Spring 1996. Four of the Mount Rainier Scenic Railroad's lokies are on display. Originally recorded on 8mm tape. Watch the long version at http://vimeo.com/channels/joelstraintv

  • Love it I adore the whisle on this locie love it thankyou

  • Somehow # 5s whistle reminds me of 1361 on her trial run

  • okay everybody listen up here is all the stuff #5 nees to run again a new smokebox a heavily reworked boiler or new one heavy firebox work and serious running gear work

  • the Pickering #11's whistle sounds like the Nevada Northern #40's whistle, or at least it sounds like the NN 40's used to, in the late 80's.

  • @hollywood1340 The fellow railroader who told me happened to be Stathi Papas, and he is at the Mount Rainier shops working his butt off to fix the 70.

  • nice 3 chime!

  • CHUG CHUG CHUG CHUG!!!!! I love that sound!!!
