@ike2729 Hank never played either one of these songs on the grand ole opry I guarantee it, the only times he sang anything that wasnt one of his own songs on the opry was " let the spirit descend" which he sang in honor of Uncle Dave Macon who passed away that day on 3/22/1952..

i have a old tape of hank singing this song on the grand ole opry, he tore the crowd up that night.

Great version of this oft-done song - this time, by the great Hank. This song inherently requires the skills of a good-quality yodeller .. and in this department, Hank was in fine form when he recorded this song. Did "Mothers Best Flour" ever end up evolving into "Martha White's" ? "Goodness Gracious, It's Good !!". Great posting !! Congrats !!
