it should so on the creen like "you got a new message" like xbox 360 and ps3 cause i hate when i have to quit my game to read a message unlike ps3 and xbox 360 where it shows that you got a messages during gameplay, this is what NINTENDO should be upgrading for wii and if they upgrade it would be cool if you can download it from the wii shop :)
