Lola ran forward and collapsed in tears at the doorway. A dirty, bloodied old man held the fragile body of her only grandson, Will, who was near death. The man hobbled inside and laid the unconscious boy on the table. Will's breathing was barely audible, his face pale and drawn. Lola sobbed and clutched at her grandchild. She kissed him and caressed his head, murmuring a lullaby she used to sing when he was an infant.
"The expedition has been lost. Your grandson is the only one left."

This game disturbed me in some ways with it's cryptic themes like this one and constant reminder of death and danger around every corner. They just don't make games like this anymore...
