WSC Boxing Matches, 1936-1938

Silent film footage of Washington State College (later University) boxing in the late 1930s. Its broken up into several segments - the first 75% or so of the film is a 1939 set against Wisconsin (won by Wisconsin by a 5 to 3 score). The next 20% is a 1936 meet against Stanford. The final 5% or so comprises a short intramural wrestling clip, followed by several bouts against Sacramento in 1938. The Washington State competitors in the Wisconsin bouts included Doug Blessinger (won), Bill Hopkins, Les Coffman (won), Bob Bates, Stan Dilatosh, Dallas Clinger, Ed McKinnon, and Louie Allen.
