Alfred Hitchcock's still-entertaining psychological drama "Spellbound" can be appreciated on a number of levels: the Salvadore Dali-designed dream sequence, the "two-red-frames" gunshot gimmick, the always radiant Ingrid Bergman, and, perhaps most of all, the haunting Miklos Rozsa score, which earned the film's lone Academy Award (one of six nominations). This danceable version of the main Spellbound theme substitutes a string/female voice combination for the spooky sound of Samuel Hoffman's theramin, which made its first movie appearance in "Spellbound."

Wonderfully crisp digital recording from vinyl! Your transfer?
I wish the one of Eddie Safranski's Quartette's rendition of Spellbound were as good, although I'm just glad to have heard it at all.

One of my favorite movies, and musical themes. One addition, a gorgeous young Greg Peck.
