I disagree. The point is that Otto fancies himself an intellectual when in reality he's a complete moron who is incapable of coming up with an insult that isn't a dozen words long. John Cleese, of course, responds perfectly with a short and sweet insult that flies over Otto's head.

This is one movie cliche that i'm completely sick of, the ability to make a long as hell insult, and this movie quote is the prime example, the "long, descriptive insult" movie cliche is just monotonous, somewhat stupid, and it should just slow down.
I rather keep the insults short and sweet!
