  • So when i rebuilt my clutch which i have the same clutch pretty much being that its off of a 98 Ski Doo Summit 670X, when i went to align the timing marks from the arrow on the governor cap to the seperate half that attaches to the crank, i couldn't get the arrow and the notch to mate exactly perfectly across from each other. It will only mate one tooth off to the right or the left.....the question i have is....is this normal? Thanks!

  • @hawk7900

yep, can be off like 11 oclock to 12 oclock

  • @hawk7900 you said (we would love it if you were to make a vid explaining the spring colors and ratios )

i dont know what you mean by ratios. ratios of what? always best to email me as i hate the message service here, it completely sucks

  • @hawk7900 go to my website and the top right hand corner is the contact box, get a hold of me there.

  • 5/8 redi rod

  • Hey, i got a quick question. What does changing the springs out do to the performace of it?

  • @skidoosummit2010

It depends on what you want to do, what do you want to achieve in the calibration - then can decide what spring to change to.

Like say the primary spring is a 280/420 and can go to a 260/420 if you want to lower the engagement by 200 rpms.
