July 4 Fireworks - Independence Day 2010 - New York City

Here's a short clip of the extraordinary fireworks display July 4, 2010. On the Hudson River, between NY & NJ. Best place... and finally returned to the West Side. The best view was right on the river, on either side of the Hudson.

NJ seems to have saved some $ and not put on displays of their own, as in past years (when the NY fireworks went to the East River.) . Jerseyans, like New Yorkers once again have a great show - and with the silhouette of New York City behind.. An awesome display to commemorate "the rockets red glare and bombs bursting in air". As people took to the streets, too, on this wonderful summer evening commemorating Independence Day 2010. Hope you enjoy....
