Rush Cygnus X-1 My Ukulele Way

We take flight to the black hole of Cygnus X-1 from within my tiki hut on a windy day in a busy neighborhood. I really thought a limb was going to crash through the roof of the hut near the end and that wind was right on cue. So thank you Mother Nature for the FX!
There is a lot of crazy stuff going on in the background of this video. The wind comes and goes, like a lion at times. Trucks, chimes, sirenes and air conditioning units hit cues. Shasta, the neighbor's dog yelps, I laugh because I know at any second my two dogs will explode and ruin the take, but they keep cool. I like when you can hear the kids in the background when I segue into No One at the Bridge, and that wind gives the whole thing a kind of Hitchcock vibe.

Yeah, you got me. The pants were waiting, this was my soundcheck. I would've never been able to play it again and have all the background noises fall into place like they did in this take, so I used it. I did two takes WITH pants right after this one. Maybe played it a little better or a little worse in parts, but this take had synchronicity. I've been waiting to be called out on it. Congrats!
