  • @z91tora haha! What an excellent way of putting it :)

  • Their live performance is so good

  • IAMX is just Rock with synthesizers, I wouldn't at all associate it with "trip hop" although sneaker pimps is definitely on that wavelength. His beats are all mostly 4/4 simple heavy bass drum, heavy snare straight forward, not the swing laid back slow tempo most "trip hop" is written in. Just saying, for the most part,,, It's Electronic Rock. If you were to pick a genre,,, definitely not trip hop. It has more in common with the early 80s wave stuff. Again, Rock with synth.

  • I wouldn't say it's trip-hop. I know only a few bands I can't find a genre for, and IAMX is one of them. The best way I could describe their music is "dark and sensitive synth music for the bisexual with some futurepop influences". There you got it. :)

  • hermoso

  • Triphop...also try "Spit it out" and luv "Bring m e back a dog and Kiss & Swallow:" Massive Attack another fav for Triphop!

  • IAMX are not a genre they make a genre.

Outstanding, and to be fed the voyeuristic visuals with the enticing voice is a treat.

  • IAMX makes Triphop, this is the Genre.

Other musicans, who are making this music style, I prefer:

LEANDRA (She's also keyboarder of the German band Jesus on Extasy)

RECOIL (Solo project of Alan Wilder, ex Depeche Mode member)

  • electro with some pop and trance tunes
