Surely the opposite is true. Brown is the highly-intelligent, analytical, cerebral one who can't play the PR game and come accross well because he answers questions in so much detail. Cameron is the one who can play the game, has the quips, the sound-bites, comes over as being more approachable...but many think he has little substance really apart from being a showman.

@endlessraining Because he was an idiot
-
@endlessraining Kinnock had been leader of his party for 9 years and was bloodied by battles with the loony left. John Major had been in for 18 months. Imagine that reversed. (How would John Major have looked in 1999 !!!????)
-
As a Conservative I am baffled as to why Kinnock didnt come to power he clearly had more charisma than John Major but his triumphalism cost him.
-
@endlessraining I think it was the way they portrayed themselves
Kinnock gave big rally speeches and major got on a soapbox and appeared to descend to the level of the ordinary voter.
-
Lol, I'm amazed a Labour guy would even stick up a clip of the infamous Sheffield Rally...
-
Im not a Labour supporter but I like Kinnock. He done the right thing taking on Militant.
-
Why waste your time? Don't vote.

God , I love my party
I notice there's no mention of the famous "We're alright!" quote. Wonder why?
