Just a couple of thots from someone who.was probably singing this arr by Jester Hairston before either of you were born (and have directed it myself). On my copy of this, it says "Bright d - 108". This perf was done at 118-120, which is not in itself too fast. Regardless of tempo, it is most imperative that this be sung as absolutely clean in rhythm and diction as is humanly possible, most esp in the coda. And it doesn't have to be staccato to do it clean. Overall, an excellent job of it!

Again I'm soooooo sorry, also considering my choir is number 1 in the state. And also again...notice i said that they were GOOD!!! I'm so sorry, get over it though. I also don't see you commenting on other people's constructive criticism?? Again i'm sorry AND AGAIN THEY WERE GOOD!!!!

That was clean! The high note for the girls at the end was good. It was one sound too..nice blend.

I on the other hand love it!
I have to sing this for festival..and even though these people are really good. They're not doing the tempo they should be doing..

@CassieKerstinIDK Well, there is no tempo marked on the music, so it is totally left to the discretion of the director. There is no "ONE WAY" in the music business. Just because you do it one way doesn't mean there isn't another interpretation.

I'm just saying. It did sound really good. You make it sound like i'm trying to be a snot or something when I'm not. I'm really sorry if you misread or misunderstood what i was trying to say.

@CassieKerstinIDK Well, when you say..."They're not doing the tempo they should be doing.." it kind of comes across as you thinking you're better than everyone.
