NTW battle commentary - Russia vs France

Napoleon Total War battle commentary. Battle no. 2 using The Great War Mod which simulates WWI battles. A link to this fantastic mod can be found on the left hand column of my home page under THE GREAT WAR MOD. This mod is in the very early stages of development so although gameplay is affected, units have not be re-skinned/re-textured.

I like trying out new mods and I'm constantly installing/uninstalling them for different game experiences. It's really quite easy once you get into the groove and I do recommend trying some out. I do not enjoy the vanilla version of this game as much mostly do to the small unit sizes which equal small armies that don't feel "epic".

It's a mod and it replicates WWI battles so it automatically puts the units in skirmisher formation.

@BattleStarDT yes it will crash but 4.5 with the 4.6 patch is a great game

i think the idea of "exchanging shot" is a silly thing to bring up. that was not the case in WWI at any point

about bigger platoons, there's 2 explanations

1- he is using a beta version of WW1 mod, which changes platoon size to the double of vanilla game ultra

2- if u not using ww1 mod, open ur preferences, script of the game and change ur unit multiplier to 2, save and make the file read only
