If ONLY it had looked like this! We been a reboot minus crash-zoom Bay!

Yeah, it's a real shame that the movie characters didn't look nearly as cool as this. I always felt that the Autobots should look like robot superheroes-bright colours, chunky, familiar shapes-you can identify them as the good guys. Part of their charm is that you can recognize bits of car/truck/whatever in the robot modes- it distinguishes them from one another.
The Bayformers all look like monsters. Do kids today like the new ones as much as we liked the old ones when we were kids ourselves?

What the hell? Usually you fuck up at the beginning of a creative endeavor, go through tests, weed out what doesn't work, refine, and hone in on something that most people would agree is an improvement. How did they start off correct - a car that looks like it transforms into a robot ( that everyone recognizes AS a transformer ) - and wind up with rolling balls of motion blur that turn into jagged sea urchins? I guess that's my mean old man opinion but...I feel like a lot of people agree.

They should remake a real Transformers movie, and call it Transformers 1984:) and it won't have anything to do with Bay.
-
that's how they should look - like robots made from pieces of a car - not like gorillas made from pieces of silvery hedge.

@jason75 not it wouldnt

This would have been so much better than Bay's Trashformers.
-

i wonder if they use a program called SynthEyes
if they had this version on the transformers the movie would be better.. new look for prime looks way too freaky

i know. they are all too complex, and unbelieveable
these are better, cause they could possibly make toys that actually look like the character
