We hear a jazz band warming up, we see some clips from a short film I shot, we witness vandalism, we go to the Louvre, we stop by the hostel I stayed in the last time I had been to Paris, a bubble hits the lens, we go to a garden, we learn smoking is cool, we have a wonderful dinner with Antonio, we disembark.

The beautiful music is by The Freelance Whales ... BUY EVERYTHING THEY SELL!!

The camera I used is a Canon HV30 with a Cinevate Brevis 35mm adapter. Lenses were a 35mm and a 50mm. I used it without the Brevis in several shots as well.

Editing in Final Cut and AFX.

  • Wow man, looks like an amazing trip, you're very lucky to have gone! I love these vidblogs of yours (though I hate to call them that because these are much higher quality and far more interesting than actual video blogs), they're awesome. Keep 'em coming!

  • Yeah, I like to think that "vidblogs" do not equal "vlogs" - vidblog is a term my buddy Jake Lodwick and I coined back in the day.

  • Awsome but it's only 2:59 wheres the other second?

  • I pass the savings onto YOU!

  • looks like you had a great trip!

  • Hey, you have a Canon HV30! Just like me!

    Did I influence your decision to get one? I did, didn't I! : )

That looks like a really fun trip. I speak French, so I'm sure I'd have a good time in Paris. It's an ancient city, and there is just so much history there.

Did you find that the lenses you used on the camera were of much help? 'Cause it looked as though much of the footage was out of focus.

    In closing, smoking is cool.
