In this video: Pablo Ziegler (pianist, composer, arranger), Héctor Del Curto (bandoneonist, band leader), Fernanda Ghi and Guillermo Merlo (dancers, choreographers), Sandra Luna (singer), Jisoo Ok (cellist), Pedro Giraudo (double bassist, composer, band leader), Lucia Giraudo (violinist), Daniel Stein (violinist)...and the wonderful Bloomington community!

The Zero Hour Tango Fest distinguishes itself from the start from other tango festivals in the US and several countries by its interdisciplinary approach to tango. Outside Argentina and Uruguay, most audiences knowledge of tango is restricted to particular styles of dance and/or the music of specific orchestras. But the true soul of tango lays in a particular way to see and relate to the world...it is a deep cultural manifestation and the purpose of the ZHTF is to explore it in all its beauty and complexity.

Usually only one element of tango is represented in the main festivals, typically dance and/or music. The Zero Hour Tango Fest will present the four main components of the genre (music, poetry, singing, and dance...but also the visual arts, gastronomy, etc.) represented and interwoven in a series of inclusive talks, workshops, contests, dance events, and multimedia concerts.
