amo los fox terrier y es muy triste ver uno así

My fox terrier had a similar thing. when she was about 12 years old she started cramping, and shaking. Whenever she sat waiting for food, her teeth would uncontrollably chatter together. she quickly lost muscle control and senses like sight and hearing. I wish dogs could communicate what they were feeling.

so sorry for your loss and god bless

Wow... Thats adorable! :D She/he's so submissive to you!

Hopefully, your Dicey passed by without suffering,
Your video has moved us to tears, too impressive to see a Fox Terrier in that condition.
My five year old bitch Chia and her daughter Milou, the only two wires that we actually have, are in good health, thanks God.
Chia's father, Fergus, was a champ in Spain; passed by at 13 in good health, just the day after my father (his owner) died.
You know,
***If it isn't a Fox Terrier, it's just a dog !***

I feel your pain. Just put my Welsh terrier down. Had a wire hair too a few yrs. ago. He had so many skin and ear allergies.Love both breeds. Can't live without a terrier in my house. They bring so much fun and spark!

We just put our wire fox down earlier this week. She had congestive heart failure (the heart doesn't pump enough blood so the organs start shutting down and eventually, of course, the heart completely fails). Usually medicine can help prolong their life with CHF, but we didn't catch it soon enough. She had stopped eating and only drank small amounts of water, which is a sure sign of the organs failing. We put her down rather than have her starve to death.

Hello.
Thanks for your message.
Dicey started getting seizures last October. They would last from a few seconds to a few minutes, while she remained conscious (not like epilepsy at all). It would appear that her whole body was cramping up, sometimes just a little around the belly area, other times very strongly so she would fall on her side. Changing food helped but obviously, her liver had stopped functionning and she was dying. Yes, it was terrible for me - feeling so helpless... MC

Hi Jenny.
Unfortunately, my Dicey passed away since this video. We discovered that she had liver disease and that the cramping was probably caused the disease and not really CECS. If you want more information on CECS, I encourage you to visit the Border Terrier website listed in the CECS videos. Good luck!
