My Guide Speaking in Vietnamese

My guide, the wonderful Khan Van Doan, who found me wandering on the sidewalk one night at Cat Ba Strip (where all the hotels are) and welcomed me in his nail/hair salon with his wife. He found me very fascinating and wondered what on earth I was doing alone. I explained that I was a world traveller and wanted to do this before I went blind. He gave me a hotel room for $5 a night. Awesome guy. He also guided me on his bike around the island, and this was one of the stops - a bee farm. He is reading my English into Vietnamese for the women who work on the farm.
