great piece of machine. hats off to the designers and engineers who put this colossal equipment together. well presented too. so what is the status of the AlaskanWayViaduct today?

@movimientoChalco - Wrong, those are the U-Link tunnel segments being produced just north of Lakewood.

Are the concrete segments made locally?

This will be determined by the tunnel contractor. We've just started the procurement process and expect to have the tunnel contractor selected by the end of 2010.
