That is quite a collection of 45 players, I've never seen a 1948 RCA 45 player like that before . I have one 45 player with the RP 168- changer.

Love the way RCA Victor put their badge all over things... our '58 console was like that, the badge was everywhere. The Silvertone looks great. The '48 RCA player looks quite rare... never seen one before

Oooh Nice , thanks 4 sharing..... found me a phono/8track player just for nostalgia purpose, surprise, great audio sound on the phono side but 8 track won't play? never had an 8track player, never repaired one..... sounds like there is power? something stuck? program button don't work? darn!! guess i'll have to dig into the problem....

@1nineVinylRocks Almost ALWAYS, the main capstan drive belt is rotted & gone gooey. You will have to clean all the old belt off the motor pulley & flywheel with rubbing alcohol & put a new belt on. While ur at it, clean the heads with alcohol & swabs, too! Once you do that, chances are good it'll take right off & work! Watch ur tapes, tho, as the foil tape that holds the tapes' ends 2gether usually will let go the 1st time the track changes & then you must replace it with NEW STICKY sensing tape
