  • The only King Air that requires a co-pilot is the 350, and if you are running 135 most insurance carriers will require you have 2 pilots but not always. Oh yea the Beech 1900 commuter is 2 pilot by direction of air carrier status. Someone correct me if I am wrong

  • Very cool video.!

Wierd question but what kind of sunglasses are those?

  • Thanks for the comment. Was a fun day of flying. Just me and my dad going to Austin. The sunglasses I bought about 2 years ago and have been the best I have ever owned. Ray Ban Polarizing lenses order #RB3269 Pearl Grey finish. ABout $150usd. Funny you should bring them up, I have been fighting with them all day, I have worn them completely out and In West Africa now and have sat of them, lost them, found them, stretched them out, chipped the glass etc...... But can't seem to do them in.

  • thats over austin tx right? i recognize N108VK thats part of the flight school there i go to

  • Are you refering to the radio talk with austin center? Or the airplane I am in? So what is your status, are you going to fly for a living or is it just for fun?

  • To answer your question it is Georgetown and we are enroute to Stephenville.

  • @embrj135 None of the King Airs including the 1900D has to have two pilots if you have the additional training to fly single pilot. In the 350 and the 1900D you are restricted to 10p only. Any time you have over 10p then you need 2 pilots. So, the FAA is saying you can kill 10p if you're flying single pilot but you can't kill over 10. Make sense? It never did to me.

  • ???

  • Erm, I have a question, does the king air not need a co-pilot to fly it? I have wanderd this for ages now, please reply sum1 =]

  • Mmmm...in a kingair systems class right now...cant wait to get into the aircraft itself...=D
