C-Projects Interview

Hailing from the Kafou Fèy (Carrefour Feuilles) section of Port-au-Prince, the up and coming rap group, C-Projects seems poised to take the Kreyol Hip-Hop world by storm. Their impressive Kanaval 2008 video (Nou Libere) has already raised many eyebrows, and they recently released an impressive video for their new release: "Ghetto".

HaitiXchange briefly caught up with them in Haiti where we shot this interview.

What you wrote about Haiti not being ready for Hip-Hop doesn't make much sense. As far as the guys wearing coats, it's all about the American influence. They are doing what they see in the music videos because to them it looks "cool".
