Wow... This is Lynwood Skating Rink in Lynwood, IL about 20 minutes from Chicago's Downtown. The movie Roll Bounce was also filmed in this same rink. Does anyone else notice the rink? By the way nice vid and I believe this sport is pretty old and surprised its still alive..

Awesome video! Great song too. Personally, I prefer to see good skating and scoring than fighting though.

To much fake fighting, but still fun to watch. I prefer the real leagues where the skating and trying to score and win is the thing, not the play fighting.

The only thing weaker than real fighting is fake fighting. Grow up and learn to skate. I'm glad that's not how it's done in the Derby South.

These so-called "all-girls leagues" obviously picked up where Rollerjam left off since the WSL had degraded itself to WWE level. Joanie Weston (the "female Bruno Sammartino of Roller Derby") would have absolutely none of it whatsoever.

Why because of fake fighting? Give me a break, thats a choice each league makes, there are people who say derby is crap in general so its all a matter of opinion isnt it? I personally think this video is awsome, even if the 'brawl' is a bit much.
Also, are the thunderdames vikings??
