I think the David Wilcox idea is too many people trying too hard, stay with what is, and don't speculate with linear thinking. The spirit is perpetual, but it does not run along socially charged desires. Let him be, don't twist it up

The way to tell the quality of the work is that there was never any personal gain to what he gave to others. I cannot imagine a better life than to fly onwards knowing that you helped relieve anguish, pain, and gave others lines to follow for a better life and afterlife. Very cool.

"Either"? "Either" it is all "fact" or a "book of lies"? I don't accept your "either/or" option, however if forced to choose: it's a book of lies. It's very definitely definitely NOT "all fact."
