"Help for Heroes" 70th Anniversary of World War II Fundraising Event

Help For Heroes evening to mark the 70th anniversary of World War II. This event was organised by Liza Williams, compered by Antoune Holmes and entertainment was provided by "Billy and Betty" (professional 40's & 50's dancers, e-mail: criches@talk21.com), Miss Marina Mae (40's female vocalist, web: www.myspace.com/missmarinamae) and Graham Oxford (Graham Sings Swing, web: www.grahamsingsswing.com) who all performed to a packed house. The event was held at "Butcher's Nook", Hemswell Village in Lincolnshire and thanks to everyone involved and to everyone who attended, a staggering amount of money was raised.
