Panasonic TZ7 HD Test - Sunset Scene mode

A short video showing how the sunset scene mode works; it's just an automatic exposure mode which sets the camera white balance to emphasize the red colour of the sky at sunset.

nice, i have the same camera, how did you upload this in high definition? premiere? photofunstudio (crap) only uploads in low quality (I think)

Just encoded it @ 720p in Sony Vegas Pro 9 as MP4. You could also upload the MTS file and Youtube would still show it in HD.

In case you uploaded it a short while ago, you should give it some time to show it in HD.

I have seen a few clips on youtube as the frame rate is 60. The camera I have is only 30FPS. But I can't find the Menu to change the frame rate. Could you help?

The framerate is like a fake 60fps progressive because every sinlge frame is doubled on the TZ7 to get a 60fps video; you get the smoothness but you lack the definition of a real progressive video.

Hi, I have the same problem as you. What you have to do is set Auto Focus to manual. The sound of the beeping is the autofocus slightly moving in and out as it senses movement. That's why it is only heard when you jult it.
