This is a follow up to my hands on video. The new Magic Trackpad is essentially a MacBook trackpad for the desktop. The multi-touch surface supports a full set of gestures, allowing users to scroll, pinch, click, rotate, and swipe. The trackpad is a wireless Bluetooth device that utilizes two AA batteries. Interesting, Apple has released its own separate rechargeable batteries and battery charger, which includes six NiMH batteries for your MagicPad, Magic Mouse, and wireless keyboard. MSRP $69.

  • They should re-release the wireless keyboard with this attached to it with left and right handed configurations. The or make them more magnetic and the trackpad can be positioned to either the left or the right side.

  • @MacintoshUser1986 Yeah, that would be interesting, although third party vendors may have a solution for owners of the trackpad and keyboard in the near future.

  • The annotation at 0:16 has a word spelt wrong, you spelt 'loo' not 'look'

  • @techkid1000 Thanks!

  • I don't know if you've tried. I know that the wireless keyboard can be paired with the iPad, but can the Track Pad also be paired? if not, There should be an app for that, lol

  • @Icedogg03 iPad can't pair with a mouse. The trackpad registers as a mouse.

  • "Let your fingers do the clicking, scrolling, and swiping."

Silly apple, our fingers are able to do that since the invention of the mouse.

  • Is this says to get used to?

  • love this

  • @techkid1000 he said look'

  • i have the magic mouse and i want to get this but is 70 dollars a good pierce for it

  • better to buy normal mouse 7 $

  • @mybbhulp to be honest for photoshop i think mouse would be a better option.

  • I have my macbook connected with a huge monitor, and have just bought the magic trackpad today. To be honest, after using this trackpad for a half hour, I feel so tired of keeping my hand in the air to tab on the trackpad. This trackpad is too big and without any places that can support my right hand angle. It is different than those trackpad on Macbook, which located in the middle of the laptop having side space supporting left and right hands arms. shall I sell it?

  • I still like the magic mouse better
