Knicks at Chicago 4-19-97 Part 1

Patrick Ewing and the knicks play Michael Jordan and Scottie Pippen and the bulls (69-12) in this last regular season game where this game means a lot in that the bulls have a chance to win at least 70 games for the second time in as many seasons. The bulls played without Dennis Rodman, Toni Kukoc, or Bill Wennington The knicks (56-25) had a lot to play for in this game in that if they could win this game, they would clinch the 3rd spot in the Eastern Conference so that they would not have to play the bulls until the Conference Finals (that did not happen unfortunately becasue of the fight). The knicks were down for the most part in this game and they fought back with defense, hustle plays and good shooting in the 4th period to beat the bulls for the first time at the United Center 103-101. The knicks stopped the bulls from winning 70 games.
