Grandma just finished up Overlord on her 360 recently. She was pretty much maxed out with armor, weapons and minions, but that didn't quite help her with this guy. I think she was trying to rush him when a war of attrition would have worked better.

Megan, you're right. I know! I can't set the shutter speed on the DV camera we have; I learned from the Resistance video especially- if I point it towards the television and it's under 1/60sec you get that bar effect. MTV used a clamshell DV recorder to tape the direct A/V from the console, so that's why it always looked crisp. I have no idea how much they are though, and I'm poor ;)

Her gamerscore is just over 12,240 right now. She's still chasing some acheivements in Overlord, but the final one in Catan is the one she really wants.

The video camera is just a Sony DCR-HC21 Handycam, but it works pretty well for us. I can't complain. The photos on the blog are taken with a Nikon D100 DSLR with various lenses and speedlights. I'm still paying for that system ;)
