This is me scoring 205,200 points on my Donkey Kong arcade machine on 1/26/08. I finally decided to upload it.

My current high score is 272,800 but I didn't get a recording of that

Fine work!! Whats the trick to getting 100 pts. by jumping, over and over, on the top of the pin level? I can't seem to make it work.

@Gvac4Life You need to move the joystick to the right or the left at the peak of your jump

Are you still playing? I just got my score up to 188,700. I did 168,00 today. Still waiting to crack the 200k mark.

Not really, I have played about 3 times this year. I left my arcade machine at my parents house because I don't have any room at my apartment. But I played about a month ago and did 158,000 because my dads friends were struggling to get past 10,000 lol

@Luigi84289 I find levels 1-5 harder then the rest of the levels. You almost have no control. I mean you do but it's very limited over the barrels.

@darknight909 It's a devil of a game. Sometimes all the skill in the world won't save you from it's randomness. Sometimes it just feels like it wants more quarters before it'll let you win.

@cradossk That happens. I still mistime that shortcut jump in the elevator stage from time to time. It has to be very precise. (Mario doesn't know how to use his arms to grab the ledge apparently ;))

@darknight909 10,000? That's a piece of cake. That's just beating level 1. The game really ends at level 5 after that it's all just for points. I wish they would make a port with the game structured like this. It's so much more fun than playing just 4 straight levels in a row that repeat. Really drags the experience out. Beating level 5 in the arcade is much much tougher than just playing through the stages once like the home ports.

@darknight909 It looks like you've pretty much mastered it over 200k is a very respectable score only a handful of people can break 100k. My best is around 400k and I've been playing it for 10 years.
