the deal is how does a person like myself who's pollytheistic religions where we belive in more then one god. goddesses etc etc. i won't elaborate much more but i feel i need oa's help to save my life at this point i feel horrible and well i need that kind of help rehab i stay in my room lot and missing out on life cause of it. .if i got to a oa meeting can i refuse to say the our father or 'christian prayers" if they say them. does oa eventually convert one to the christian god?
are 12 step programs like OA 'pagan friendly" just curious i want to rejoin and stuff but i don't understand their religious stance on stuff. my mom goes done well i want to go back cause i can't have the weight loss surgery due to other issues but feel i need the group to get outta my rock bottom situation i am in now. do they always meet @ a church cause i dont' wanna be burnt at the stakes or something ;)
Great video...good for you on keeping an open mind and trying out some more meetings before making a decision to stay in OA. I also agree with you about the geographical cure, no matter where you move, the addiction is still there :) Glad you "survived" the earthquake LOL Take care!
