First Straight Razor Shave

My very first straight razor shave ever. DON'T COPY ANY OF MY NOOB MOVES HERE. Very poor technique left me with my first cut from a straight razor and a finishing with my Futur. Horrible angle around the mouth and chin. I'll keep on giving it a go until I get the proper technique down.

Great first shave! I gave myself 4 good cuts on my first shave! One is a permanent scar. You did alright!

i didnt get any cuts til my fourth forth shave thin i got like 5 cuts lol they were all nicks so im good

OUCH! That made my face hurt... ;) Do you always use your Futur for your upper lip? If you turn your straight vertical it can make it easier to shave right below your nose.

I shaved yesterday for the fist time.... I must have watched 30 You Tube shaving videos.... I did ok. I stopped it well and did a better job today. Yeah... never bank the blade into your face.... or go sideways.  Just a gentle touch. I can still give myself a closer shave with a DE razor.. but I am confident over time I will become a pro.
