When God is into games

This is a message that calls us all to enter into the most dramatic adventure of all times - an adventure that far surpasses the reckless expediations of the most ambitious player. It's a game that will claim your entire world of existence. He gives us these question marks that cause us to strive for answers. Chess is a thought provoking game simply because it trains us to think several steps ahead before making a move. God is wanting us to play in such away to know who we are ... why were here ... and He wants to give us clear direction for our lives. He wants to direct us out of mediocrity and train us to live a life that counts. What if before sitting down to a game of chess we knew that we knew that not only did God want us to win but he was going to help us and guide us for a potential win. Highlight areas on the board and leave us to challenge ourselves to victory. The sweeter the win is when we know we were challenged and a for sure win was not ours. God wants to blow our minds with what seems like a crazy plot that turns last minute heroics. In this video I include segments of the movie Four Feathers. It's about a British soldier with a golden future - until he inexplicably resigns from his regiment right before going off to battle. He is branded a coward by his friends and comrades with a box that comes with their four names on four different cards and four feathers. He was disowned by his family and what was a souring romance with beautiful fiance abruptly ended and her feeling ashamed of him. Among the names of those who deemed him cowardly was his best friend. Heart broken and abandoned, he recieves news that his regiment has been brutally attacked. Suddenly his course is highlighted and becomes clear. He sets out on a journey of redemption - to win back his honor, recapture his queen ... his love and save his comrades. I know that this video won't roll up your sleeping bag and pack your tent for you. Nor can it force you out of your comfort and into the untamed endless adventure of a worthy life. I could hand you the rules of this chess game but it does not mean that I can make you play well. Just as being real and finding a real christian experience are two very different things. It is first vital that we aknowledge the emptiness of the Christian game. That morever we have admitted defeat but we also never truly searched out victory. Yes we are honest about our problems, but we ignore the real solutions. Trapped in a Christian game. Sin is the greatest hindrance to our relationship with God and each other. As long as this selfish rule is the controlling force within our soul, His mighty work on the cross two thousand years ago is rendered ineffective in our lives. We can't win. Even so I see many revel over the points they've scored in this Christian game. The Christian game cries out to all who are close enough to hear that the who gather in his name expands the heart of God and His will can be bent by numbers. I don't know. I believe that in a right heart of prayer God will heal my son ..out of the wheelchair and my son will walk again. I think if in my sincere prayer I ask God for healing and it is His will bone cancer will no longer take residence in my body and if in earnest prayer I believe that God will save my daughter in whom I was told to abort He will. I believe that scriptures ... Gods prayer guidelines found within says boldly venture into the breath taking expanse of God's love and grace and be healed! It is not what man achieves, but what he believes and strives for that makes him noble and great! Come out of the shallowness of your game playing. Passionatel pursue what brings glory and victory for you King! Faith is the entry point of this game. Even before the thought provoking moves. "When the pawn hits the conflicts he thinks like a King" The mark of a life governed by the Holy Spirit is that such a life is continually and ever more and more occupied with the King, that Christ becomes greater and greater as time goes on. When the heart see what the King wants, the pawn must be willing to spend and be spent for that cause alone. If you have found the vestibule of Heaven then truly you can declare CHECK MATE! : )
