i bought this product, however it did not come with the 8ft. electrical cable. Where can i purchase one that would work just as efficient?

If you already have the kit there is no need to buy the whole kit again. I am not sure why there was not the ROmex inthe box. You might have bought the wrong part #. There are a few Datacxom parts that do not include the Romex. You can though go down to Home Depot and buythe Romex for very cheap!

@jjmill16 Just your basic Romex. It is a very simple cable. Home Depot will sell it by the foot for very cheap!

I bought this product and was very satisfied. All of the parts were included and it took me about 30 minutes to install, including cutting the dry wall. Worth the investment!
