Ottoh was found being suffered from malnutrition. Marsidik, a Pamalihan resident who kept Ottoh, told us that he had kept her as a pet for six months. Other resident of Pamalihan, Marsidik, had captivated other two orangutans (Ogel, a three year-old-male and Abel, three year-old female) also for six months. He caught the two babies from the block 10 of a palm oil plantation belongs to PT. TASK, which has decimated the forest in Cempaga sub district of Central Kalimantan for palm oil plantation.

  • So cruel and wicked to keep orangutans in a cage with no food water or shelter. These people have no understanding of life nor compassion.
