Ottoh was found being suffered from malnutrition. Marsidik, a Pamalihan resident who kept Ottoh, told us that he had kept her as a pet for six months. Other resident of Pamalihan, Marsidik, had captivated other two orangutans (Ogel, a three year-old-male and Abel, three year-old female) also for six months. He caught the two babies from the block 10 of a palm oil plantation belongs to PT. TASK, which has decimated the forest in Cempaga sub district of Central Kalimantan for palm oil plantation.
So cruel and wicked to keep orangutans in a cage with no food water or shelter. These people have no understanding of life nor compassion.
