Listen... I may be a die-hard Sounders season ticket holder, but even I can appreciate the Timbers Army. More than wins or losses for my team, I just wanna see the league flourish. And, by the way, Portlandia is a pretty funny show...

Damn, Portland is a town full of dirty, unwashed hipsters huh?
-
timbers waiving to fans at end of game. play whispers while waveing "what city have we got our selfs into?" this is RIP CITY
-
portland has 2 profesianal teams now. winter hawks should try to go pro. all we need now is a nfl team. portland is growing as a sport city
-
@NickBigsmoke I'm not even a Portland fan, I'm an Union fan. SOB's and Timbers Army are brothers and don't you flounders forget that.
-
@Headcheezonium i hope you some day talk shit about the actual team rather than the supporters. its clear that the cascadia teams have the best support. why do you have to be a whinny little bitch and talk about worthless statistics. you can go ahead and praise your precious timbers, but no one will care if your team continues to play like shit.
-
@NickBigsmoke The flounders can only dream of having support as good as Portland. You may have 67,000 glory hunters, But compared to 20,000 real fans, they're worthless.

@Headcheezonium oh yes. your 8 thousand NASL fans is something to be proud of... your argument is pointless. every city had shitty USL and NASL attendance. most English clubs see a better attendance when in the top league anyhow. your also forgetting that your city only had 1 professional sport, whereas Seattle had 3.
Some of these fans should come to Lawrence, Kansas when you come to KC on Wednesday. Lawrence is about 25 minutes west of LivestrongPark and it will probably remind you of Portland. I've never been to Portland, but many people compare the two. Best college town in the country and has a great bar and music scene. It's worth checking out. We worship KU basketball like you all do for the Timbers. Respect from Kansas! Rock Chalk.

Please keep this passion always at the highest level, it'll take you far. I haven't been to Portland yet, but it seems like a wonderful city! One day I'll be on these terraces sharing the emotion and bearing my Coritiba green-and-white jersey to add to the atmosphere! My greatest regards from Curitiba, Brazil.
