Young's regular singer at the time was Hal Burke, but this doesn't sound like him at all (Hal had some accent problems).

This is probably in my top five list of songs of the 1930's. That time period was about 20 years before my time, but I am huge fan of Warner Brother's cartoons, which is where I first heard this gem.
