Michael Gale is a 5 year old with big dreams. His biggest dream of all is to help with finding a cure for diabetes. Diabetes is a life threatening disease that affects millions of children, as well as adults all over the world. I'm so proud of this little boy for what he's doing!! My son too is 5 yrs old and has had diabetes since he was 15 months old. Finding a cure is our biggest dream too!!! Keep up the fight Michael, we're all behind you!!

I agree it is a bad thing to have!! I've had it since I was 5 & I am now 11!!! Sorry but it never gets easy!!

This brought a tear to my eye. I also am trying to fight a decease that almost no one has heard of and the doctors have to guess on how to treat me. I have to have surgery every 6-8 years and I am not able to do anything that raises my heart-rate. I can not get near and magnets or batteries or else it will shut off the device that they put in me. I can not have a lot of caffeine. Both me and my brother have it and only 100 people in the whole world have been caught with it.

god bless him, my son has type 1 diabetes too. He was diagnosed at the age of ten and now he is 16. There have been good times and bad. I am so proud of him, he never EVER complains and his blood sugar average is perfect!
