I don't understand why this video caused this type of debate. The Bible is meant to be interpreted by everyone in their own way. The Bible is meant to bring out the good and positive in everyone. There is an overwhelming amount of people, today, that are accustomed to judging and accusing, without really knowing the facts. They are described as hippocrates, in the Bible. This man had troubles caused by people and he focused on the real troubles for his daughter. That is a sacrifice within itself

If you claim that God intervenes when prayers are apparently answered how do you deal with the fact that often god doesn't seem to answer prayers?

Do you think that god has three answers to prayer:"Yes, No, Later"? If this is the case you should realise that you've made the hypothesis that god listens to prayer unfalsifiable, and as such it has no strength as evidence for God.

There are many reasons for God not answering your prayers the way you want him too. The Bible is very clear about them.

Psalm 37:4 Delight thyself also in the Lord, and he WILL give thee, the desires of thine heart.

That's only one, But there are thousands more.

If there is sin in your heart, if there is ought between you and your spouse. You must be born again...Etc...

Wow!! the way some people talk about god in this Message board is disgusting , People seem to believe in god when good things happen, but when bad things happen they question if there is a god... smdh... be grateful for life, n god... @Psalm, i totally get what ur going threw, My sister went threw a very similar story with her second child that got injured n DCF took them away n said "false things" but she got her kids back "thanks to god' and ill pray u get ur beautiful kids back <3

So, why does Jesus ignore the pleas of the helpless, starving, and HIV infected children of Africa? Is He too busy with your daughter's recovery? Are their limits to Jesus' powers? OR, are there limits to His benevolence? Why are you and your family in good favor with Jesus, while others far worse off than yourselves are being ignored?

How could you accept such blessings, while others suffer worse than yourself?  I couldn't.

It is you who has NEVER known a love, like God's Love. God would never condemn anyone for anything - that is unconditional love. That is pure love, the likes of which no Christian could ever know.
