It was however common idea of medievalists, since man was pinacle of creation; it seemed logical that earth was the center of the universe. It was just the ideas of those people however; nowwhere backed up by the bible.

The same thing with the earth being flat. THe bible clearly doesn't say that aswell.

Also you say the sun goes down evryday. offcource it doesn't but you still say it. That's because people speak "NORMAL" they don't speak "SCIENCE" if you get what I mean. Bible was written in 'normal'. Infact almost all books are written in normal exept those that explain scientific theories. Imagine a roman that is written in science. "Hey honey, what a beautifull sunrise. THat's not a sunrise dear that's the earth moving".
