  • I wonder if they've considered an eye gaze communication device. she'd be a perfect candidate and it would greatly help with communication

  • @CuppaTea4Me Or any of a variety of causes of brainstem damage, including a brainstem stroke.

  • This is so horrible. I experienced a brief period of "locked-in syndrome" while in the hospital with pneumonia and a collapsed lung. I had a tube going down my throat into my lungs so I couldn't talk, and I was sedated and given a muscle paralytic. It is the most horrible thing that can happen to a person. Like being buried alive, but for these people it lasts a lifetime. Absolutely grotesque, horrible, morbid. My family now knows that if I'm ever in this kind of situation, pull the plug.

  • @videolver2

It would of been from a traumatic brain injury.

  • How did she become like this?
