Oma Sud, an Italian aircraft company that builds parts for the likes of Airbus, has it's own unusual new twin. AVweb's Mary Grady took a closer look at Oshkosh Airventure 2010.
@HDaviator 145kts is slow for an all composite twin thats going to cost $980,000 US dollars. I personally would rather buy a turbine aircraft. Or at least go for a baron thats a couple years old. It'll be faster, have 1 more seat, and include an all glass avionics suite for 100k less.
It is but its not unheard of on a twin. For the piper seminole I file for 120kts and that is a 4 place airplane. You need to understand that most twin owners buy a twin for the 2 engines, not the speed. A Lancair is faster than a Beech Baron, but good luck getting to a airport with an engine failure in the lancair. Also, twins have higher useful loads. Its all about the mission.
ummmmm...... its a plane... i like the one made by i think its called Mottar its sooo COOL looking :D

I'm almost sure he said he was giving one to Mary, for free, pending FAA certification, for her great report on this very interesting aircraft.
