This is wonderful beyond any dream!!! Having lived with Jackie and Holly and associating with Candy at Max*s Kansas City, I am so happy that someone is making sure this incredible piece of HISTORY is being preserved for future generations. The kids need to know!!!!!!!! Jayne County

The more I see of Candy I really think she could have had a mainstream acting career today and Jackie is nothing if not creative and imaginative.

Jackie was a genius, Candy was a Venus, and they were all superstars. :)

All of you are so beautiful.
I love you Agosto!
And Jackie & Candy are now a naughty little twinkle in our eyes.

Oh, Flo What a change you know
When she left the village she was shy.
But alas and alack. She's come back!
With a naughty little twinkle in her eye.
Haha I love the Shopgirl. Those girls always knew how to throw down.
Did Tony Ingrassia direct this???

No, La Mama's website says: Playwright: Jackie Curtis Director: Jackie Curtis & Dennis Spallina
Composer: Lou Reed (although Paul Serrato says Curtis put this in the program, he wrote the major songs of record from Vain Victory, such as "White Shoulders, Black and Blue" and "Your Place Tonight")

Candy was beautiful, and utterly feminine! It is so tragic she died so young (just 3 years after this video) before realizing her dreams.

Craig, this is so precious. I can't tell you how much I appreciate these priceless treasures. Seeing them rehearsing is showing the world that they were real artists before being transvestites.

Indeed they were artists, and during an unprecedented time of experimental theater and underground filmmaking in New York City. And Jackie, Candy and Holly lived their lives like performance art.
