A bitterly violent war against Mexican Drug Cartels wages on across the U.S. border. Tens of thousands are being murdered, and over a million are being forced to flee their homes. U.S. laws and policy play a major role in the conflict's violence. This video is about understanding the complexities of the war and why it is happening.

Are you kidding me? Legalizing drugs would put them out of business. Why do you think they are called DRUG cartels and not extortion or kidnapping cartels. The revenue that makes them powerful is from drugs. If we eliminate that profit, they will be weak allowing police to take them on much more efficiently. Legalizing drugs is the first step to end everything.

-"its beyond time for the US to take responsibility in its role in arming and funding a war that has increased horrendous acts of violence".

IN PLAIN SIGHT they are funding the war to blame the US gun owner for mexico corruption! Operation fast and furious goes back to the bush years.

If you're not well informed don't make an opinion. If U.S wasn't the number one consumer and if it wasn't so damn easy to get firearms from here to Mexico, Cartels would't be shit without consumers or firearms. So do some research before making some dumb comment . (: Thank youu.

trade weapons of war for cocaine to foreign countries , and not our allies , but staunch enemies of US citizens, and then flew the drugs back into the US just in time for the wave of crack cocaine ( black ops ) that swept america off its feet in a matter of months. Crack cocaine was the subject and product of Forbes industries , and was subjected to marketing analytics long before it was on the streets for sale . Don't believe what your told , its 99.9% false . no matter whose version it is.

the same government that is providing you with Monsanto products in your food agenda 21 and NDAA, just to name a couple of luxuries that Americans are afforded by our own government ! So for me to believe that that care about our well being is impossible at this point. As far as I'm concerned its the US government's fault, they have been bring cocaine and heroin into this country for decades , just ask Col. Oliver North, he will just invoke his fifth amendment rights, but he did infact...

why else wouldn't they have carried out the obvious solution by now? because, war of any kind is good for business for the US gov.! We have become the military industrial complex to an unnecessary extent, we are rapidly losing the fight for humanity and life of all kinds in this dimension and on this planet due to the overpowering iron fist of "democraship or dictatorcy " whichever you feel comfortable calling it. Remember this propaganda is being brought to you by............

decriminalization and abolition of controlled substance legislation is the only answer to this problem. If they manage to close out Mexico, another third world , poverty stricken country will spring right up and take their place. Just like taking one dealer of the street, there are ten in line waiting to take his place. I think our government profits more on the lethal chaos that ensues from the social casualties a "drug war" causes

So we're supposed to give up our second amendment right because Mexico can't handle their business? How do you figure that guns going from the United States into Mexico is the United States' fault but drugs going from Mexico to the United States isn't Mexico's fault? There are clearly problems, but saying that it's just time for the United States to take responsibility is just stupid. Maybe Mexico needs to take responsibility for their corruption problems? Nice cartoon though.
