Were You Caught in the Viacom Takedown?

:-/ Anyone have any information on the bogus-sounding MyVideoRights group? They took down a remixed Mr. Bean video of mine that used about 7% of the source material aired over a local PBS station (although lots of companies are sub-licensed it). I would contest it, but the button for countering false CID matches is gone (only the formal counter for videos taken down by an actual person is there)

They took down 2 videos actually. it had many views. it was called "spongebob truth or square 3/7 and spongebob truth or square 7/7.

youtube should bann viacom from rhe site then sue them.

I was only making a walkthrough of a video game and ive seen tons of thoughs but its blocked due to copyright by viacom.

my account was SUSPENDED due to them!!

my video "what i want to do to the owner of viacom >:(" got removed because it was a hate message against them

same here, fuckers aint they, video game trailers or intros promote the game, i cant see how it breaks a copyright.

had a video removed today by a copyright claim by viacom, it was the intro to the beatles rock band video game, no idea if they own the rights or not but ive put in a counter claim, its bad they can flag videos for content they dony own.

That's what I'm wondering about! I mean, you can have 18+ Porn on here, but you CAN'T have someone singing a song, or some kinda tribute to someone/thing? WTF? x.x Srsly, they DO need to explain this.

They took down my video as well. I had like, ONE paragraph saying I didn't FREAKING own it, but they still TOOK it down. It was like a tribute of a cartoon character I like, wtf? It isn't even RELATED to Viacom, and I don't think the cartoon is OWNED by it. -_-. Youtube SERIOUSLY needs to look at this again, cause it's pissing me off, and making me wanna leave youtube, and i'm sure i'm not the only one. :(
