Elle Muliarchyk & Bella Freud on Fashion TV

Fashion TV Cut February 6th 2008.
Elle Muliarchyk, New York based model, artist and photographer, known as the "world's most daring fashion photographer" and "world's first guerrilla model", is overexposed shooting all alone in dangerous places at nights, in collaboration with London fashion designer Bella Freud, who is daughter of artist Lucian Freud and great grand daughter of Sigmund Freud.

Elle created the images over the period of six months in England, New York and Northern California.

Elle; "I was attacked by a gang of eight men in South London, they kicked me and threw me onto the ground, than took all of my belongings and equipment, ripped off my shoes and clothes, the only thing that I was able to save was my camera with all of the images!"

The video also features the exhibition of the images from their collaboration that took place during London Frieze Art Fair.

That's worrisome to me... i mean, do what you will, but i almost feel as though her disregard for safety puts all young females at risk. Gives predators a reason to prowl, knowing that there are girls like her out at night alone

wow this is so inspirational to me as I am a photographer. This model/ photographer has so much passion and really understands light. This is incredible. And to the person that said you can't get images like these on a point and shoot is obviously an amateur.  It's not the camera that makes the magic, it's the photographer. I've seen playboy photogs shoot with a disposable before. Anyways, this is great great great. I've book marked it for future inspiration!

i know now..its a Lumix LX2. She apparently uses a Canon g10 now..though I haven't seen more recent work from her.

A snappy dresser and a dressy snapper!

However, she is taking the fashion victim to worrying extremes. I mean, there must be better ways of getting thrills than getting herself raped and kicked to death in a dark alley. And as a photographer, she must have noticed that the shops provided much better lighting!
