this must be the one where the british guy fakes it. in the real ones, theres no stage, its simply magic, and/or electromagnetism. lol.

the bible doesnt say anything about fakirs
history shows that fakirs exist
i never heard of them doing such tricks
but i know that there are very deep into religion
but in simple terms
they are basically middle eastern monks

@50zcarsman are you relying on the bible to prove the existence of fakirs?

I once heard it speculated that Yeshua (Jesus) wandered to India in the years between the money-changers episode in his youth and the time he re-appeared to begin his "ministry" at about age 30. Various North Indian villages have oral history saying their fakirs taught him tricks -- e.g., turn water into wine, raise the "dead", heal "lepers", cure "demonic possession" -- that were old even then; he brought them back to Palestine where they hadn't yet been seen. Fakirs can still do this stuff.

it is done with mass hypnosis, audience thinks that the boy is climbing a rope and disappears, but he just leaves the stage
